Adobe Illustrator Certification Practice Quizlet
Course Description: This course is designed to develop basic-entry level skills for careers in the digital publishing industry, however, the course is very rigorous and the content includes computer skills; digital publishing concepts and operations; layout, design, measurement activities; and digital imaging as well as communication, collaboration & decision-making activities; critical thinking; and problem solving.
Evaluation & Online Grade Access (Parent Portal)
Quizzes, class work, class participation and projects will be calculated in the student's grades. Students are expected to take notes when such work is given. Students will also be required earn a minimum of 80% on practice exams to be eligible to take the Industry Certification Exams near the end of the first semester. Tests/Projects=50%, Class Assignments=30% and Participation=20% of the student’s nine weeks grade.
Supplies Needed Daily: Pen/pencil, paper, folder. Students need to keep up with handouts and project requirements during the school year.
Students will be learning various applications in the Adobe CC Suite during the course of the class and students will be taking Industry Certification exams in Adobe Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC prior to the end of the year. The primary goal of the course is for students to become proficient in the software applications and Adobe Certified Associates as well as have fun while learning something new and have professional, printed products to bring home and share and be career-ready, if desired!
