GBHS' Academy of Multimedia Design & Technology lab is a Certified Authorized Adobe and Certiport testing center. Students are encouraged to have at least three Adobe certifications near the completion of the program of Digital Design.
The GBHS Academy of Multimedia Design & Technology consists of a rigorous curriculum with opportunities to partner with community colleges, universities and local businesses in the field of Digital, Web and/or Multimedia Design. The program is tightly aligned with relevant academic, employment, and workplace standards. Students are expected to complete rigorous, challenging academic work that will prepare them for successful post-secondary experiences. It offers a broad foundation of knowledge and skills needed to prepare students for employment in the career fields of digital design using Photoshop©, Illustrator©, Premiere Pro©, After Effects©, InDesign©, and Animate© using the Adobe CC Suite of software.
The coursework also includes the Adobe Certified Associate Certifications in Photoshop©, Illustrator©, Premiere Pro©, After Effects©, InDesign©, and Animate© Industry Certifications. These certification exams are offered free of charge for students enrolled in the GBHS Academy of Multimedia Design & Technology.
